Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

21.

(a) A Class D beer, wine and liquor license shall be
issued by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in
which the place of business is located, or by the clerk of
the Court of Common Pleas in Baltimore City, if the place of
business is located in said city. It shall authorize the
holder thereof to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic
beverages at retail at the place therein described, for
consumption on the premises or elsewhere. No such license
shall be issued for any drugstore. The annual fee for such
a license shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00), except as
hereinafter provided, and shall be payable to the said clerk
before any license is issued, for distribution as
hereinafter provided.

21.

(m) Such licenses shall be issued only in Baltimore
City, Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Caroline, Charles,
Cecil, Garrett, Howard, Kent, St. Mary's [and], Washington,
AND WICOMICO counties and in the towns of North Beach and
Chesapeake Beach in Calvert County and in the Town of Ocean
City in Worcester County.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.
