AN ACT concerning

Attorneys Fees - Distribution - Worcester County

FOR the purpose of providing that in Worcester County
appearance fees shall be deposited into the Worcester
County Court Library Account; and providing that upon
approval by the senior resident judge of Worcester
County, the appearance fees shall be used for the court
library of Worcester County.

Section 7-204(k)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

7-204.

(K) IN WORCESTER COUNTY THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT
SHALL DEPOSIT MONTHLY ALL APPEARANCE FEES COLLECTED UNDER
SUBSECTION (A) INTO THE ACCOUNT KNOWN AS THE "WORCESTER
COUNTY COURT LIBRARY". THE FUND SHALL BE USED FOR THE
GENERAL PURPOSES OF THE COURT LIBRARY OF THE COUNTY, AND
TOGETHER WITH OTHER FUNDS IN THE FUND, SHALL BE DISBURSED
UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE SENIOR RESIDENT JUDGE OF WORCESTER
COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.
