SERVICES, THE LOCAL DEPARTMENT SHALL BE A PARTY TO THE
PROCEEDING AND SHALL PRESENT TO THE COURT THE EVIDENCE IN
SUPPORT OF THE PETITION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any
provision of this Act or the application thereof to any
person or circumstance is held invalid for any reason, the
invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or any
other application of this Act which can be given effect
without the invalid provisions or application, and to this
end all the provisions of this Act are declared to be
severable.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Pistol and Revolver Dealer's License - Fees

FOR the purpose of increasing the fees for the original and
annual renewal of a pistol and revolver dealer's
license.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

443.

(b) The license required by subsection (a) above
shall expire on the 30th day of June [of June, 1967, and] of
each year [thereafter]. The initial fee for the license
shall be [forty dollars ($40.00)] $50, and the annual
renewal shall be [ten dollars ($10.00)] $25, payable to the
