SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 56 - Licenses
81.
(d) The holder of any license issued under the
provision of this subtitle shall submit under oath to the
Superintendent an annual statement. The annual statement
shall include a certification that all withholding and
social security taxes have been paid; a certificate from an
insurance carrier showing that workmen's compensation
insurance for employees of the licensee is in effect; a
certification that all required State or federal obligations
payable for or on behalf of employees have been paid; and a
receipt from the Maryland Income Tax Division of the
Comptroller's office showing that the income tax of the
agency has been paid. Such annual statement and the renewal
application for the license shall be filed on or before the
fifteenth day of April in each and every year, however, a
fee of ten dollars ($10.00) A DAY shall be assessed for each
and every statement received by the Superintendent after the
[twenty-fifth] FIFTEENTH day of April in [any] EACH AND
EVERY year. Should the holder of a license not file such
statement and renewal application within the time
hereinabove provided or submit a false statement, such
omission of filing or misrepresentation shall be cause for
the revocation of such license. The Superintendent shall
have access to all licensee's records referred to in this
subsection.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.
