SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article - Estates and Trusts
6-403.
A special administrator shall collect, manage, and
preserve property and account to the personal representative
upon his appointment. A special administrator SHALL ASSUME
ALL DUTIES UNPERFORMED BY A PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE IMPOSED
UNDER SUBTITLES 2, 3, AND 5 OF TITLE 7, AND has all powers
necessary to collect, manage, and preserve property. In
addition, a special administrator has the other powers
designated from time to time by court order.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
Washington County - Washington County Jail
FOR the purpose of authorizing and empowering the Board of
County Commissioners of Washington County to issue and
sell serial bonds upon the full faith and credit of the
County in an amount not in excess of $3,000,000, to be
issued in such amounts and at such times as the County
Commissioners may designate, for the purposes of
constructing and equipping a county jail in Washington
County and of doing those things that are necessary or
appropriate to accomplish the objects and purposes of
the project, and authorizing the Board of County
Commissioners of Washington County to levy taxes on the
assessable property in the County to provide funds for
the payment of interest and principal as the same
become payable.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the County Commissioners of Washington County
be and they are authorized and empowered to borrow at one
time or from time to time, upon the full faith and credit of
Washington County, and to issue and sell at one time or from
time to time its bonds therefor, a sum or sums of money not
