HARRY HUGHES, Governor

697

without substantive change     from Art. 41, §

266HH-6(1) through (3), (6),   the first clauses of

each of (4) and (7), and the  last two clauses of
(5).

In items (2) and (4) of this section, the present
references to the power of the Authority to
"alter" its seal and to "plead and be impleaded"
are deleted as unnecessary since these powers
naturally follow from those stated.

In item (7) of this section, the phrase "from the
federal government and any of its agencies and
instrumentalities" is substituted for the
reference to "federal agency". This change
conforms item (7) of this section to the similar
provision in § 13-114(7) of this title, as to the
power of MIDFA.

The last clause of present Art. 41, § 266HH-6(4),
which relates to service of process, now appears
in § 13-214 of this subtitle; the first clause of
present § 266HH-6(5), which relates to the staff
of the Authority, now appears in § 13-209(d) of
this subtitle; and the last clause of present §
266HH-6(7), which relates to purchasing
procedures, now appears in § 13-209(e) of this
subtitle.

13-213. RECORD OF ACCOUNTS; ANNUAL REPORT.

THE AUTHORITY SHALL:

(1)       KEEP PROPER RECORDS OF ITS ACCOUNTS; AND

(2)       MAKE AN ANNUAL REPORT ON ITS CONDITION AND
OPERATIONS TO THE GOVERNOR.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as Art.
41, § 266HH-10.

The only changes are in style.

13-214. SERVICE OF PROCESS.

IN ANY ACTION, SERVICE OF PROCESS ON THE AUTHORITY
SHALL BE HADE BY SERVICE ON THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE
AUTHORITY, EITHER IN PERSON OR BY LEAVING A, COPY OF THE
PROCESS AT THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR WITH THE
INDIVIDUAL IN CHARGE OF THE OFFICE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as the
last clause of Art. 41, § 266HH-6(4).

The only changes are in style.

13-215. RESERVED.
