(3) PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE, DISPOSAL, LEASE, OR
RENTAL OF PROPERTY BY THE AUTHORITY; AND

(4) INCOME FROM INVESTMENTS THAT THE STATE
TREASURER, ON INSTRUCTION OF THE AUTHORITY, MAKES FOR THE
AUTHORITY, UNDER § 13-124 OF THIS SUBTITLE.

(B) USES OF THE FUND.

THE AUTHORITY SHALL USE THE FUND TO PAY ALL OF THE
EXPENSES OF THE AUTHORITY, INCLUDING:

(1)   PAYMENTS REQUIRED BY MORTGAGE DEFAULTS; AND

(2)   EXPENSES FOR ADMINISTRATIVE, LEGAL,
ACTUARIAL, AND OTHER SERVICES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the second
sentence of Art. 41, § 266S(a), from Art. 41, §
266V, and from the second sentence of Art. 41, §
266BB.

In subsection (b) of this section, the references
in present Art. 41, § 266V to the requisite
"approval" of the Secretary and the "annual
approval of the budget by the General Assembly"
are deleted as unnecessary in light of §
13-113(a) of this subtitle and the general rules
relative to the State's budgetary process.

The first sentence of present Art. 41, § 266BB,
which requires certain appropriations to be made
for fiscal years 1966 through 1970, is deleted as
obsolete.

13-123. ADDITIONS TO FUND.

(A)   REQUEST TO BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.

IF THE AUTHORITY AND THE SECRETARY FIND THAT MORE MONEY
IS NEEDED TO KEEP THE RESERVES OF THE FUND AT AN ADEQUATE
LEVEL, THE AUTHORITY SHALL SEND A WRITTEN REQUEST TO THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE ADDITIONAL MONEY.

(B)   PAYMENT FROM EMERGENCY FUND.

THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MAY PAY THE AMOUNT REQUESTED
BY THE AUTHORITY UNDER THIS SECTION FROM ITS EMERGENCY FUND.
