MADE UNDER TITLE 12, SUBTITLE 3 OF THE COMMERCIAL LAW
ARTICLE, THE MARYLAND CONSUMER LOAN LAW — CREDIT
PROVISIONS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added
to avoid unnecessary repetition in this subtitle
of the substance of the definition. It repeats
the definition of "loan" in the Maryland Consumer
Loan Law — Credit Provisions in CL § 12—301,

(E)   MARYLAND CONSUMER LOAN LAW.

"MARYLAND CONSUMER LOAN LAW" MEANS THIS SUBTITLE AND
TITLE 12, SUBTITLE 3 OF THE COMMERCIAL LAW ARTICLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
substituted for Art. 58A, § 17(f), which defines
"this article" to the same effect.

(F) PERSON.

"PERSON" INCLUDES AN INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATION, BUSINESS
TRUST, ESTATE, TRUST, PARTNERSHIP, ASSOCIATION, TWO OR MORE
PERSONS HAVING A JOINT OR COMMON INTEREST, OR ANY OTHER
LEGAL OR COMMERCIAL ENTITY.

This subsection conforms to the substantively
identical definition of "person" in the Maryland
Consumer Loan Law — Credit Provisions in CL §
12-301.
