BILL 14

AN ACT to amend Chapter 47 of the Wicomico County Code,
titled "Library System", by repealing and reenacting with
amendments, Sections 47-3, subtitled "Control of Library
System", 47-4, subtitled "Powers and responsibilities" and
47-5, subtitled "Membership" to provide for the appointment
of members of the Board of Library Trustees by the County
Council of Wicomico County, to provide for the terms of the
Board's members and to determine its powers;

WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico County finds it
advisable and necessary for the public good and welfare of
the citizens of Wicomico County to provide for the selection
of members of the Board of Library Trustees and to determine
its powers.

Approved October 15, 1979.
