RESOLUTION NO. R79-1
(Annexation No. XII - Baptist Church-Vasquez)
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to The Mayor and
Common Council of Westminster to enlarge the corporate
boundaries of the City by the annexation of land adjoining
and contiguous to the existing corporate boundaries; and
WHEREAS, the President of the Council has caused to be
made a verification of the signatures upon said petition and
has ascertained that the persons signing the petition
represent at least twenty-five per centum (25%) of the
persons who reside in the area to be annexed, and who are
registered voters in county elections in the precinct or
precincts in which the territory to be annexed is located,
and the owners of at least twenty-five per centum (25%) of
the assessed valuation of the real property located in the
area to be annexed.
[Section 738(21-2) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Carroll County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

OF THE TOWN OF WILLIAMSPORT, MARYLAND
TO ENLARGE THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Williamsport, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 19
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
"Corporations - Municipal", subtitle "Home Rule", subheading
"Annexation", as said section was enacted by Chapter 314 of
the Laws of the State of Maryland of 1961, and as amended by
Chapter 410 of the Laws of Maryland of 1967, to enlarge the
corporate boundaries of the Town of Williamsport, as
presently defined by a copy of the courses and distances
showing the exact corporate limits of the Town, as recorded
and filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Washington
County, Maryland, the Town Clerk of the Town of
Williamsport, Maryland, Department of Legislative Reference,
Office of the Secretary of State, the Hall of Records
Commission and the State Library, which are incorporated
herein and made apart hereof by reference, in accordance
with the Laws of the State of Maryland and in accordance
