(3) 60 OUTPATIENT VISITS AT A CERTIFIED
ALCOHOLISM TREATMENT FACILITY. BENEFITS PROVIDED IN
PARAGRAPHS (1) AND (2) MAY BE LIMITED TO 111 DAYS OF ACTIVE
INPATIENT TREATMENT IN THE COVERED PERSON'S LIFETIME.

(B)  ANY MAJOR MEDICAL CONTRACT, POLICY OR CERTIFICATE,
INCLUDING ONE ISSUED BY A NONPROFIT HEALTH SERVICE PLAN,
THAT PROVIDES BENEFITS FOR BOTH HOSPITALIZATION AND MEDICAL
CARE SHALL PROVIDE BENEFITS EQUAL TO AT LEAST HALF THOSE
REQUIRED BY SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION

(C)  THE MAXIMUM BENEFIT, UNDER THIS SECTION, IN THE
AGGREGATE DURING ANY CALENDAR YEAR OR BENEFIT PERIOD MAY BE
LIMITED TO NOT LESS THAN $1,000.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980 January 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Beach Erosion Control Districts - Construction of
Public Utility Structures

FOR the purpose of allowing an exemption to the ban on
construction activity within the Beach Erosion Control
District for certain public utility pipelines under
certain conditions; and clarifying language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Natural Resources
Section 8-1105.1(b)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

8-1105.1.

(b) For the purposes of maintaining the Atlantic Coast
beaches of the State and the Beach Erosion Control District,
the integrity and continuity of the dunal system and
