SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Retail
Sales Tax Division of the Comptroller of the State Treasury
shall evaluate this method of taxation and report its
findings to the General Assembly by January 1, 1981.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to
the provisions of Section 2 above, this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1980.

Health Insurance - Alcoholic Rehabilitation Benefits

FOR the purpose of requiring that certain health insurance
policies contain certain benefits for expenses arising
from certain alcoholic rehabilitation treatment
programs; establishing certain minimum and possible
maximum requirements for these benefits; and generally
relating to alcoholic rehabilitation insurance
benefits.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:
