1982, the Board of Public Works shall so certify to the
Treasurer of the State and the proceeds of the loan shall be
expended in accordance with the provisions of this Act. if
satisfactory evidence of the raising of at least an equal
and matching fund for this project is not presented to the
Board of Public Works on or before June 1, 1982, the
proceeds of the loan shall be transferred to the Annuity
Bond Fund and applied to the debt service requirements of
the State.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
Carroll County - Juvenile Crime Restitution Fund
FOR the purpose of establishing a fund to provide prompt
restitution to victims of juvenile crime and to enhance
the treatment program for the juvenile by providing an
adequate time for repayment to insure that the juvenile
personally pays for the loss; creating an administrator
and custodian for the fund and delineating their
powers; establishing eligibility for an award from the
fund and the manner in which claims are to be handled;
setting minimum and maximum awards and limitations
thereon; providing definitions of terms; authorizing
the Carroll County Commissioners to appropriate moneys
to establish and maintain the fund; providing for the
reimbursement of the fund by the juvenile and for the
juvenile and his parents or guardian to cosign a note;
and generally relating to the Juvenile Crime
Restitution Fund.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:
