Ch. 775

(1)  Compensation in accordance with the State
budget; and

(2)  Reimbursement for expenses under the
standard State travel regulations.

(g) On recommendation of the Secretary, the Governor
may remove any member of the Board for any of the following
reasons:

(1)  Conviction of any crime that involves moral
turpitude;

(2)  Conviction of any criminal offense the
effect of which is to prevent or interfere with the
performance of any duty of the Board;

(3)  Failure to carry out duties assigned by the
Board or its Chairman.; or

(4)  Acceptance of any position or the conduct of
any business that conflicts or tends to conflict with the
performance of any duty of the Board.]

(a)  The Board shall hear and determine all disputes
within its jurisdiction.

(b)  The Board shall have jurisdiction over all
disputes other than labor disputes arising under a contract
with the Department, or as a result of a breach of a
contract with the Department. The Board has no jurisdiction
over the awarding of a contract with the Department.

(c)  The Board shall issue a final decision in writing
on each dispute submitted. A copy of the decision shall be
delivered or mailed to the Secretary and to each party to
the dispute.

(d)  The Board shall adopt rules and regulations which
provide, to the fullest extent possible, informal,
expeditious, and inexpensive resolution of claims and
controversies.

(e)  A Board member may not participate in any
determination or vote in any proceeding in which the member
has a direct or indirect private interest.]

proceedings under this subtitle.]
