STANDARD MILEAGE RATE PROVIDED IN § 162 OF THE INTERNAL
REVENUE CODE AND REDUCED BY THE AMOUNT OF UNREIMBURSED
AUTOMOBILE TRAVEL EXPENSES CLAIMED ON THE INDIVIDUAL'S
FEDERAL TAX RETURN AS AN ITEMIZED DEDUCTION, AS TO THE SAME
ORGANIZATIONS, UNDER § 170 OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
School Health Pilot Program
FOR the purpose of establishing a multiple year school
health pilot program in certain areas of the State
designed to improve the health of school-age children
and to provide a system of evaluation of this program;
establishing the purposes and objectives of this
program; providing for the general operation of this
program, including the acquisition of certain services
from certain persons; providing for the operation of
the program in Baltimore City and Caroline County,
including the preparation, responsibilities , and
duties of the Pediatric-School Nurse Practitioner and
the range and scope of services provided; establishing
goals for this program; providing that the program
staff shall report on the effectiveness of this program
to the General Assembly and the Secretary of Health and
Mental Hygiene; providing that the provisions of this
Act shall terminate on a certain date; providing that
this Act is contingent upon the funding of this program
in the State budget; and generally relating to the
school health pilot program.
