The Authority and the Public Service Commission, within
the limitations of their respective personnel needs and
budgets, shall make every effort to employ any merit system
employer of the former Authority who may make application to
either the Authority or the Public Service Commission for
employment prior to June 1, 1969.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IF FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
5-505 of Article - Financial Institutions, of the Annotated

Code of Maryland (as enacted by Chapter (H.B. 1) of the

Acts of the General Assembly of 1980) be repealed.

SECTION 2 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

frequency of and location of Public Service Commission
meetings.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 78 - Public Service Commission Law

19.

The Commission shall [hold stated meetings at least
once weekly, at its principal office, and may hold such
other meetings] MEET at such times and places within this
State as it may deem necessary. The Commission shall have
an official seal.
