BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Transportation

Section 8-405(b)(2), 26-201(a), and 27-101(i)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new subtitle "Municipal Corporations
Employees" to precede Sections 130 through 139, inclusive,
of Article 73B - Pensions of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be added.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

13.

(h) In Harford County the annual license fee for a six
day, Monday through Saturday, license is $125. The fee for a
seven day license is $250. The licenses shall be granted by
the liquor control board of Harford County only to
proprietors of bona fide retail stores selling food, drugs,
or other similar commodities amounting to at least 20
percent of the total monthly receipts. These licenses
authorize the licensee to sell for consumption off the
premises only, fermented beverages including split bottles
and brewed beverages in normal containerized packages.
Brewed beverages sold in bottles or cans exceeding 12 ounces
in weight or size, for consumption off the premises, may be
sold individually. Wine and other fermented beverages may
not contain more than 23 percent OF ALCOHOL by volume. The
word "premises" for the purpose of this section shall be
construed to include any building, parking lot, terrace or
grounds which form an integral part of the licensed
premises.
