SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

19.

(s) In Prince George's County;

(3) (VII) 1. NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF §
42 AND § 53 OR ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS ARTICLE, UPON
APPLICATION BY THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, THE BOARD OF
LICENSE COMMISSIONERS SHALL ISSUE TO THE UNIVERSITY OF
MARYLAND A CLASS BH LICENSE TO SELL BEER, WINE, AND LIQUOR
BY THE DRINK OR BY THE BOTTLE FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE
PREMISES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND CENTER OF ADULT
EDUCATION.

2. THE UNIVERSITY SHALL FORWARD TO
THE MARYLAND REGISTER FOR PUBLICATION THE POLICIES OF THE
CENTER OF ADULT EDUCATION THAT PERTAIN TO THE SPONSORSHIP OF
EVENTS WHERE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD.

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of License
Commissioners in Prince George's County to issue a
Class B/ECF alcoholic beverages license to the
University of Maryland, University College Center of
Adult Education; granting the Board certain powers;
providing for the requirements for issuance of the
license; providing for the issuance of the license to a
certain individual; requiring certain profits to be
deposited into a certain fund; establishing an annual
license fee; and correcting an error.
