AN ACT concerning

Montgomery County - Land Recordation

FOR the purpose of specifying certain requirements of having
instruments recorded in Montgomery County; and
generally relating to titles and interests in real
property in Montgomery County.

BY renumbering

Article - Real Property

Section 3-501 through 3-503, respectively, and the

subtitle "Subtitle 5- Recording and Other

Costs"
to be Section 3-601 through 3-603, respectively, and

"Subtitle 6. Recording and Other Costs"

BY adding to

Article - Real Property

Section 3-501 to be under the new subtitle "Subtitle 5.

Montgomery County Land Recordation"
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 3-501 through 3-503, respectively,
and the subtitle "Subtitle 5. Recording and Other Costs" of
Article - Real Property, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be renumbered to be Section(s) 3-601 through 3-603,
respectively, and "Subtitle 6. Recording and Other Costs."

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed,
amended, or enacted to read as follows:

SUBTITLE 5. MONTGOMERY COUNTY LAND RECORDATION

3-501.

(A) (1) THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR MONTGOMERY
COUNTY SHALL:

(I) ASSIGN TO EACH PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY
IN THE COUNTY AN INDIVIDUAL PARCEL IDENTIFIER, NUMERICAL OR
OTHERWISE; AND
