AN ACT concerning

Orphan's Court Judges - Dorchester County - Salary

FOR the purpose of increasing the salary of Orphan's Court
judges in Dorchester County by a certain amount;
providing that this increase does not affect
incumbents; and eliminating the expense allowance for
Orphan's Court judges in Dorchester County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 2-108(k)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(k) Each of the judges of the court for Dorchester
County shall receive an annual salary in the amount of
[$900. Each judge shall also receive an allowance of $10
for expenses for every day's attendance upon the sessions of
the court.] $2,500.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.
