The General Assembly's

deletion of funds for the
Veteran's Cemetery Program
reflects the belief that

the Federal Fund

appropriation of $619,012
in Supplemental Budget #1
should be sufficient to

continue the cemetery

projects now in progress

during fiscal__year 1981.

It is the intent of the

General Assembly that the

Maryland's Veteran's

Commission should give
priority to complete the
sites, including planting,

and that proposals for

chapels, administration

and maintenance,

facilities should be

deferred until additional
funding is made available

in subsequent fiscal

years.

COMMISSION:

To supplement the
appropriation "Acquisition
of Charlotte Hall School
in St. Mary's County ..."
as shown on page 2314 of
the Acts of 1978; Section
1(7) of Chapter 795 of the
Acts of 1978 being hereby
modified to the extent
that said work may begin
upon                      satisfactory

assurances to the Board of
Public Works that said
project can be completed
