Article 33 - Election Code

32-7.

(a) (3) The primary election for members of the Board
of Education shall be held [on the second Tuesday after the
first Monday in September except in presidential election
years it shall be held on the third Tuesday in May] AT THE
SAME TIME AND PLACE AS THE PRIMARY ELECTIONS OF THE
POLITICAL PARTIES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 198)

AN ACT concerning

Fair Election Practices - Election Reports and Statements

FOR the purpose of restoring the requirement that central
committees and political committees which continue in
existence from year to year file campaign fund reports
not later than the third Tuesday following any
election; restoring the additional $10 late fee for the
late filing of candidate's preelection campaign
reports; applying the additional $10 late fee to all
committees; excluding Saturdays from the determination
of late fees; and making this Act an emergency measure.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
