DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND
CORRECTIONAL SERVICES

OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY

The Department of Public

Safety and Correctional

Services shall not fill any

position of employment in

excess of 6,519 positions,

of its total number of

authorized positions at any
one time during F. Y. 1981,

the remaining vacant

positions or any number of
such vacant positions may be

filled for the specific

position needs as approved

by the Board of Public

Works. It is intended that

a Consolidated Manpower

Program be utilized for the
express purpose of meeting

the Departmental manpower

requirements to the end that

each position filled is of

the highest priority.

Excess general funds

remaining from any position

vacancy shall revert to the

Treasury and not be used for
any other purpose, provided
that such excess funds
exceed turnover expectancy
reduction.

35.01.01.01 General Administration
General Fund Appropriation....

35.01.01.02 Data Services

Funds are appropriated in
various agencies' budgets to
pay for data services.

Authorization is hereby
granted to use receipts
from data services as
