COMMISSIONER SHALL CHARGE A FEE OF $1 FOR EACH PAGE AND $1
FOR EACH CERTIFICATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first
sentence of Art. 11, § 25.

As to the providing of copies of documents, it
should be noted that the Bank Commissioner must
keep certain information confidential, including
information learned in the course of an
examination. See, e.g., § 5-209 of this article.

The last sentence of present Art. 11, § 25, which
requires these fees to be paid "into the State
treasury", is deleted as unnecessary in light of
§ 2-109 of this subtitle to the same effect.

2-109. PAYMENT OF MONEY TO GENERAL FUND.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, THE BANK
COMMISSIONER SHALL PAY ALL MONEY COLLECTED UNDER THIS
ARTICLE INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF THIS STATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language added to
avoid constant repetition throughout this article
of requirements that fees and other money
collected by the Bank Commissioner are to be paid
to the State Treasurer and become part of the
general fund of this State.

2-110. FULL—TIME DUTIES OF BANK COMMISSIONER AND DEPUTY.

(A)   IN GENERAL.

THE BANK COMMISSIONER AND DEPUTY BANK COMMISSIONER
SHALL DEVOTE FULL-TIME TO THEIR DUTIES.

(B)   LIMITATIONS ON OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES.

THE BANK COMMISSIONER AND DEPUTY BANK COMMISSIONER MAY
NOT:

(1)   BE AN OFFICER OR DIRECTOR OF ANY STATE
BANKING INSTITUTION OR NATIONAL BANKING ASSOCIATION; OR

(2)   ENGAGE IN ANY OTHER BUSINESS RELATING TO
BANKS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
from the fourth and sixth sentences and the first
clause of the fifth sentence of Art. 11, § 1.

This section has been expanded to apply to the
Deputy as well as the Bank Commissioner, to avoid
possible conflicts of interest when the Deputy is
required or authorized to perform the duties of
