SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

594B-1.

(A) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO A CITATION:

(1)  FOR A VIOLATION OF A PARKING ORDINANCE OR
REGULATION ADOPTED UNDER SUBTITLE 3 OF THE TRANSPORTATION
ARTICLE; OR

(2)  ADOPTED BY THE STATE MOTOR VEHICLE
ADMINISTRATION PURSUANT TO TRANSPORTATION ARTICLE, § 26-406
FOR USE IN TRAFFIC OFFENSES; OR

(3)  PRESCRIBED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL
RESOURCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH NATURAL RESOURCES ARTICLE, §
1-205.

(A) (B) THE FORM OF A CITATION USED AS A CHARGING
DOCUMENT SHALL BE UNIFORM THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

(B) (C) THE FORM OF THE CITATION SHALL BE PRESCRIBED
BY THE DISTRICT COURT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980 January 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Pensions and State Accident Fund - Cost-of-Living
Adjustments for Death Benefit Allowances

FOR the purpose of providing that certain lump sum benefits
and the return of contributions recieved received upon
the death of a member of certain retirement systems may
not be adjusted for the cost-of-living; providing that
monthly allowances received after the death of a member
shall be adjusted for the cost-of-living retroactive to
a certain date; and providing that any cost of living
