[(e)] (F) The evaluation report also may include any
other information PROVIDED FOR IN THE EVALUATION PLAN OR
which the Department of Fiscal Services deems appropriate.
[(f)] (G) Before December 15 of the year preceding the
year of the evaluation date, the [designated committee]
LEGISLATIVE EVALUATION COMMITTEE shall hold a public hearing
to receive testimony from the board and the public regarding
the evaluation report prepared by the Department of Fiscal
Services.
[(g)] (H) On or before the [eighth] TWENTIETH day of
the regular session of the General Assembly in the year of
evaluation, the [designated committee] LEGISLATIVE
EVALUATION COMMITTEE shall report to the General Assembly
its recommendation to reestablish, reconstitute with
changes, repeal, or allow to terminate the board under
evaluation. This report shall be accompanied by a bill to
effect the recommendation, if legislation is appropriate.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
Commission on Nursing Issues in Maryland
FOR the purpose of creating a Commission on nursing issues
in Maryland; providing the Commission with certain
responsibilities to determine if there is a shortage of
nurses in this State; providing for the membership and
funding of the Commission; and providing that the
Commission shall terminate after a certain date unless
extended in a certain manner.

Section 941 through 947, inclusive, to be under the new
subtitle "Commission on Nursing Issues in
Maryland"
