ASSOCIATION, CORPORATION, OR OTHER ENTITY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added
to set forth a broad definition of the word
"person" as used in this article.

As to the term "personal representative", see
Art. 1, § 5 of the Code.

(O) POLITICAL SUBDIVISION.

"POLITICAL SUBDIVISION" MEANS:

(1)       A COUNTY OR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THIS
STATE; AND

(2)       UNLESS THE CONTEXT REQUIRES OTHERWISE, A
SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT OF THIS STATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added
for clarity and consistency. In effect, it
adopts the usual meaning given to the term
"political subdivision" by the State courts: 59
Op. Att'y Gen. 560, 564 n.1 (1974);

Maryland—National Capital - Park and Planning
Comm'n v. Montgomery County, 267 Md. 82, 88-94,
296 A.2d 692 (1972); State v. Canova, 278 Md.
483, 365 A.2d 988 (1976).

Under subsection (g) of this section, "county"
includes Baltimore City.

(P) REAL PROPERTY.

"REAL PROPERTY" INCLUDES ANY INTEREST IN REAL PROPERTY.

INSTITUTION AND TO ALL OF ITS CORPORATE ACTS.
