the record has been filed as above provided, shall be
considered an automatic affirmance of the local board's
decision unless the time has been extended by the Appeal
Board for a good cause shown.

(b) This section shall be applicable in Dorchester[,]
AND Somerset [and Wicomico] counties.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Financial Records - Confidentiality

FOR the purpose of making information relating to a loan
account or an application for a loan a "Financial
Record"; redefining "financial record" to include,
under the provisions that make certain financial
documents and transactions confidential, any form of
record of these documents and transactions; extending
to agents and directors of fiduciary institutions the
prohibition against unauthorized disclosures of
financial records; providing penalties for violations
and for inducing and attempting to induce violations;
and generally relating to the confidentiality of
financial records.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

General Assembly of 1980) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:
