are to be redeemed, otherwise, the Board of County
Commissioners of Caroline County are directed to include a
sufficient amount to redeem any and all "Tax Anticipation
Notes" or renewals thereof that have been outstanding
twenty-four months or over in the next levy following [such]
THE twenty-four month period, term or maturity.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
Caroline County - Government Study Commission
FOR the purpose of altering the authority to appoint the
members of the Caroline County Governmental Study
Commission; changing the dates for the appointment of
the Commission and its first meeting and changing the
date and the recipients of the Commission report.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:
Article 6 - Caroline County
(a) The Caroline County Governmental Study Commission
is hereby created for the purpose of studying and making
recommendations concerning the structure or form of the
government of Caroline County. The Commission shall be
composed of eleven (11) persons who shall serve without
compensation. Commission members shall be selected and
appointed by the joint action of the Board of County
Commissioners and the [State Senator and members of the
House of Delegates elected from the County] MEMBER OF THE
HOUSE OF DELEGATES OF THE 35TH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT RESIDING
