AN ACT concerning

Deep Mining of Coal

FOR the purpose of amending the laws relating to deep mining
of coal in Maryland; revoking those provisions which
duplicate existing federal safety laws and regulations
in this area; revising certain obsolete provisions; and
in general clarifying, streamlining, and reorganizing
the law relating to deep mining of coal.
