FOR the purpose of permitting a holder of a commercial

subject to the conditions of a sports crabber's
license.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

4-804.

(H) SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS OF A SPORTS CRABBER'S
LICENSE UNDER SUBSECTION (C) OF THIS SECTION, A PERSON WHO
HOLDS ONLY A COMMERCIAL CRABBER'S LICENSE MAY CATCH CRABS IN
THE WATERS OF THE STATE FOR NONCOMMERCIAL PURPOSES. (g)
(4) A PERSON HOLDING A COMMERCIAL CRABBERS LICENSE MAY
CATCH CRABS FOR NONCOMMERCIAL PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION WITHOUT OBTAINING A SPORTS
CRABBERS LICENSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

FOR the purpose of extending the limited exemption from
provisions of the Insurance Code to certain insurers
which issue life and health insurance and annuity
contracts for the benefit of nonprofit educational or
scientific institutions; requiring those exempt
insurers to pay a premium tax; and making stylistic
changes.
