Ch. 388

(B) ANY EXCESS AMOUNTS REMAINING AFTER RETIREMENT OR
REPURCHASE OF OUTSTANDING DEBT SHALL BE PAID INTO THE
GENERAL FUND OF THIS STATE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any

provision of this Act or the application thereof to any
person or circumstance is held invalid for any reason, the
invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or any
other application of this Act which can be given effect
without the invalid provisions or application, and to this
end all the provisions of this Act are declared to be
severable.

SECTION 3 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Education - Entities Providing
Avocational Instruction

FOR the purpose of exempting certain individuals and
entities that provide certain instruction from the
requirement that they receive a certificate of approval
from the State Board of Education in order to operate
in this State.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Education

Section 2-206

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Volume and 1979 Supplement)

(As enacted by Chapter 278 of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1979)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(as enacted by Chapter 278 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1979) be repealed, amended, or enacted to read
as follows:
