traffic is regulated by a police officer [or traffic control
signal. However, if a blind or partially blind pedestrian
described in subsection (a)(1) of this section or a deaf or
hearing impaired person described in subsection (a)(2) of
this section has not passed completely through the crossing
or intersection when a traffic control signal changes, he
retains the right-of-way, and the driver of each vehicle at
or approaching the intersection shall comply with subsection
(a)(3) of this section].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

CHAPTER 341

(Senate Bill 816)

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Tax Credits - Prince George's
Jaycees, Inc.

FOR the purpose of permitting Prince George's County to
provide a tax credit against county and special
district property taxes on property owned by the Prince
George's Jaycees, Inc.; and requiring all taxing
jurisdictions to provide the Department of Assessments
and Taxation with an itemized listing of all tax
credits granted within that jurisdiction.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes

Section 9C(1) and (s)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1975 Replacement Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes

9C.

(1) In Prince George's County, (1) from county
taxation only, real property which is owned by the Maryland
Jaycees, Inc. (otherwise known as Maryland State Junior
Chamber of Commerce, Inc.) and used in the operation of a
charitable nonprofit educational or rehabilitation
