(f) The [Sheriff of Charles County and the] boards of
county commissioners of Allegany, [and] Carroll, AND CHARLES
counties are hereby respectively authorized and empowered to
appoint dog wardens, in their respective counties, who shall
have all the powers of a constable or other peace officer
and who may sell and issue dog licenses, and take into
custody and dispose of stray, injured and sick dogs in
accordance with rules, regulations or resolutions of the
respective board of county commissioners enacted pursuant to
paragraph (e) hereof. The respective boards of county
commissioners are hereby further authorized and empowered to
provide the compensation for the dog wardens[ provided that
the dog warden of Charles County shall receive not less than
$6,100.00 per annum, and shall be provided a vehicle by said
county].
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
Funeral Director's License
FOR the purpose of defining certain terms: providing for the
issuance of a funeral director's license to applicants
meeting certain qualifications; granting certain
authority to the Board of Funeral Directors and
Embalmers; providing for the scope, term, and renewal
of the license; exempting certain persons from certain
penalties; exempting the business of operating a
cemetery or crematory from a certain subtitle; and
making this Act an emergency measure.
