SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article - Education
16-205.
(b) If permitted by the board of trustees of a
community college, any resident of this State who is 60
years old or older or, who is retired and disabled as
defined by the Social Security or Railroad Retirement Act,
and who enrolls in any class at the community college [that
has at least ten or is being continued with less than ten
regularly enrolled students]:
(1) Is exempt from payment of tuition; and
(2) Shall be counted in computing full-time
equivalent enrollment under § 16-403 of this title IF
ENROLLED IN ANY CLASS THAT IS ELIGIBLE FOR STATE SUPPORT.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning
Health - Nursing Home Receivership and Management
FOR the purpose of defining terms; allowing the Secretary of
the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to petition
the court for the appointment of a receiver for certain
nursing homes in certain cases; providing for a notice
and hearing requirements, grounds for appointment,
emergency appointment, authority and duties of a
receiver, persons eligible for appointment as a
receiver, liability of a receiver, bond, reports and
compensation, termination of receivership, substitution
of receiver, and funding; stating the authority of the
Secretary; and allowing the Director of the Office on
Aging to request the Secretary to file a certain
petition in certain cases; and relating generally to
nursing home receiverships.
