a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined
one hundred dollars ($100.00). All license fees collected
under the provisions of this section shall be paid to the
County Commissioners of Carroll County and credited to the
general funds of the county.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

FOR the purpose of defining the term "bowling alleys" under
the Alcoholic Beverages law in Wicomico County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

For the purposes of this article and unless otherwise
required by the context:

(W) IN WICOMICO COUNTY, "BOWLING ALLEY" MEANS AN
ESTABLISHMENT IN WHICH THE PRIMARY BUSINESS ACTIVITY IS TO
PROVIDE BOWLING LANES AND BOWLING ACTIVITIES FOR THE PUBLIC,
AND WHICH MAY BE EQUIPPED WITH A DINING ROOM OR SNACK BAR
AREA FOR THE SALE OF FOOD AND BEVERAGES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.
