TRANSACTION HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED BY THE MARYLAND-NATIONAL
CAPITAL PARK AND PLANNING COMMISSION, THE DEPARTMENT OF
HEALTH, OR ANY OTHER AGENCY OF THE STATE OR COUNTY. THE
APPROVAL OF ONE OR MORE OF THESE AGENCIES MAY BE NECESSARY
BEFORE ANY BUILDING PERMIT IS ISSUED."

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Finance Director

Disposition of Surplus or Unexpended Moneys

FOR the purpose of authorizing the director of finance of
Prince George's County to make certain utilization of
surplus or unexpended moneys.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 95 - Treasurer

Section 22B

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1979 Replacement Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 95 - Treasurer

22B.

Notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary
or any limitation or restriction contained in any other law,
the [director] DIRECTORS of finance of Montgomery OR PRINCE
GEORGE'S [County] COUNTIES may invest, redeem, sell,
exchange, and reinvest unexpended or surplus moneys, in any
fund or account of which he has custody or control, in
bankers' acceptances.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.
