AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Class B - Beer and Light Wine License)

FOR the purpose of providing for the issuance of a Class B
beer and light wine restaurant and hotel license in St.
Mary's County; establishing the fee and certain
restrictions for such a license; and clarifying
language.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

14.

(a) A Class B beer and light wine license shall be
issued by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in
which the place of business is located, or by the clerk of
the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore City, if the place of
business is located in said city, and shall authorize the
holder thereof to keep for sale and sell beer and light
wines at retail at any hotel or restaurant, at the place
