Ch. 293

(a) For the week in which his unemployment is due to
his leaving work voluntarily without good cause ATTRIBUTABLE
TO THE EMPLOYER, if so found by the Executive Director and
for not less than the four nor more than nine weeks which
immediately follow such week as determined by the Executive
Director in each case ACCORDING TO THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE
CONFIRMED MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES; or until he has become
reemployed and has earnings therein equal to at least ten
[(10)] times his weekly benefit amount.

(A) IF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FINDS THAT THE
INDIVIDUAL'S UNEMPLOYMENT IS DUE TO HIS LEAVING WORK
VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT GOOD CAUSE. ONLY A CAUSE WHICH IS
DIRECTLY ATTRIBUTABLE TO, ARISING FROM, OR CONNECTED WITH
THE CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT OR ACTIONS OF THE EMPLOYER MAY
BE CONSIDERED GOOD CAUSE. THE INDIVIDUAL'S DISQUALIFICATION
SHALL BE EFFECTIVE FOR THE WEEK IN WHICH THE UNEMPLOYMENT
BEGAN AND SHALL CONTINUE (1) FOR NOT LESS THAN 4 NOR MORE
THAN 9 WEEKS IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER, ACCORDING TO THE
SERIOUSNESS OF VALID MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES AS DETERMINED
IN EACH CASE BY THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OR (2) UNTIL THE
INDIVIDUAL HAS BECOME EMPLOYED AND HAS EARNINGS THEREIN
EQUAL TO AT LEAST TEN TIMES HIS WEEKLY BENEFIT AMOUNT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

CHAPTER 294

(Senate Bill 970)

AN ACT concerning

Bank Commissioner - General Regulations

FOR the purpose of requiring certain officers of certain
banking institutions to report at a certain time to the
Bank Commissioner changes in the control thereof and
any transfers involvinga certain percentage of the
voting stock purchasers to request prior approval of
the Bank Commissioner to make certain purchases;
correcting language; empowering the Bank Commissioner
to deny such changes in certain circumstances; and
adding a penalty for violations.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 11 - Banks and Trust Companies
