nearest point of the building of the establishment to the
nearest point of the building of the school, church, or
other place of worship. Any decision of the Harford County
Board of Education after June 30, 1975 to locate a public
school building within 1,000 feet of an existing licensee
may not be the basis for the revocation or denial of
renewal, transfer, or upgrading of that alcoholic beverage
license. THIS SECTION DOES NOT PRECLUDE A CHURCH OR SCHOOL
FROM APPLYING FOR A 1-DAY LICENSE TO BE USED ON THEIR
PREMISES.
126.
(d) Notwithstanding the provisions of § 114 or of any
other contrary provisions of this article, the possession of
alcoholic beverages upon the premises of a licensee under
the provisions of this article is not unlawful under any of
the following conditions:
(4) WHEN THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE BROUGHT
UPON THE PREMISES OF A CLUB, WHICH IS LICENSED FOR THE SALE
OF BEER AND LIGHT WINE OR BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE, BY ITS MEMBERS, THEIR GUESTS, OR
THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR ANY AFFAIR WHICH IS HELD ON THE
PREMISES OF THE LICENSED CLUB.
(5) WHEN LIGHT WINE IS DISPENSED AT A BONA FIDE
WINE TASTING ON PREMISES LICENSED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF §
34(A).
(4) WHEN A DANCE OR SOCIAL EVENT IS HELD ON THE
PREMISES OF A CLASS C LICENSEE AND THAT DANCE OR SOCIAL
EVENT IS ADVERTISED AS BEING "BRING YOUR OWN" (BYO).
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

noncollegiate educational institutions applying for
certificates of approval from the State Board of
Education and to institutions of postsecondary
education applying for certificates of approval from
the State Board for Higher Education and relating
generally thereto.
