assess the building and advise the board of the valuation of
the building for assessment and taxation purposes.

(5) THE VALUATION OF THE BUILDING FOR ASSESSMENT
AND TAXATION PURPOSES AS SET OUT IN PARAGRAPHS (2) AND (3)
SHALL NOT AFFECT OR PROHIBIT IN ANY MANNER THE RENEWAL OR
TRANSFER OF ANY CLASS B LICENSE ISSUED IN CARROLL COUNTY
PRIOR TO MAY 1, 1979.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - Abatement of Nuisances

FOR the purpose of specifying a certain number of days of
advance notice to the owner or occupant of property in
Carroll County upon which a certain nuisance or menace
is found before the County Commissioners in Carroll
County may remove the nuisance or menace; defining
"notice"; specifying the portion of certain properties
to which the removal of weeds applies; stating the
effect of a determination by a certain official that a
certain nuisance or menace exists; clarifying the
provisions applicable to the abatement of nuisances;
and generally relating to the power to abate nuisances.
