BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Transportation
Section 8-710(a)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1977 Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Transportation

8-710.

(a) Each applicant for a license or the renewal of a
license under this part shall pay to the Administration an
annual fee, based on the number of outdoor sign structures
[that the licensee maintains], as follows:

(1)  [50 or less structures — $100; and] TEN OR
LESS STRUCTURES — $25;

(2)  [Over 50 structures -- $350.] ELEVEN TO 50
STRUCTURES — $100; AND

(3)  OVER 50 STRUCTURES —$350.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County Jail - Administration and Operation
by the Sheriff

FOR the purpose of enabling the Baltimore County Council to
transfer, by legislative act, the duties of
administration and operation of the Baltimore County
Jail from the chief of police of Baltimore County to
the sheriff of Baltimore County; and making this Act an
emergency measure.
