BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Carroll County
Section 3-21(b)

Article 7 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1976 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 7 - Carroll County

3-21.

(b) The Commission shall consist of [not fewer than]
AT LEAST nine [nor more than fifteen] members, who shall be
appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. The members
shall represent a cross-section of the economic composition
of Carroll County and shall be selected because of their
known experience and interest in the development of Carroll
County. Those organizations representing the same categoric
interest shall jointly send to the County Commissioners a
list of not less than two nor more than three names of
persons duly qualified and interested in serving on the
Commission, and the County Commissioners shall select the
members of the Commission from the lists which are
submitted.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
