SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:
Article 9 - Charles County
26.
(b) The County Commissioners shall receive no mileage
for attending regular meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday of
any week, but shall be reimbursed for [mileage] TRAVEL
EXPENSES, tolls [and], parking AND OTHER expenses incurred
in [travel to] ATTENDING other meetings [in], CONFERENCES,
AND WORKSHOPS IN connection with their duties as County
Commissioners. [Reimbursement shall be made upon the
submission of vouchers for the expenses monthly and after
the approval of the vouchers by the three County
Commissioners.] VOUCHERS FOR THE ABOVE EXPENSES SHALL BE
SUBMITTED TO THE CLERK TO THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ON AT
LEAST A QUARTERLY BASIS, WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER THE CLOSE OF
EACH CALENDAR QUARTER. PAYMENT OF EXPENSES SHALL BE MADE
AFTER APPROVAL OF THE THREE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
