a holder of a Class A, beer, wine and liquor license shall
be permitted to make any sale between the hours of 2:00 a.m.
and 6:00 a.m. or on Sunday after 2:00 a.m.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Hazardous Waste

FOR the purpose of extending the time within which the
Maryland Port Administration may dispose of or cause to
be disposed, certain hazardous substances in
structures, systems or areas utilized for disposal on
or before January 1, 1978.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

8-1413.2.

(g) Except as provided in Section 8-1413 and
regulations adopted pursuant to this subtitle, a person only
may dispose of designated hazardous substances in a
facility. Until [July 1, 1979] JULY 1, 1980, the Maryland
Port Administration may dispose of, or cause to be disposed,
designated hazardous substances only in a disposal
structure, system, or geographic area utilized for disposal
on or before January 1, 1978.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
