WRITTEN APPLICATION TO THE BANK COMMISSIONER, ON A FORM
PRESCRIBED BY HIM, STATING:

(1)    THE LOCATION OF EACH EXISTING OR PROPOSED
OFFICE OR TERMINAL;

(2)    A SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED

OPERATIONS; AND

(3)    A STATEMENT OF THE SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED
FOR THE PUBLIC.

(C)    IF THE COMMISSIONER FINDS THAT THE ESTABLISHMENT
AND OPERATIONS OF THE PROPOSED OFFICE OR TERMINAL DOES NOT
VIOLATE § 31A OF THIS ARTICLE OR ANY OTHER LAW OF MARYLAND
APPLICABLE TO BANKS AND BANKING, HE SHALL ISSUE A PERMIT FOR
THE OFFICE OR TERMINAL. THE PERMIT SHALL EXPIRE 24 MONTHS
FROM THE DATE OF ISSUANCE. IT MAY BE RENEWED FOR A LIKE
TERM IF A RENEWAL APPLICATION IS MADE NOT LATER THAN 30 DAYS
BEFORE THE EXPIRATION DATE OF THE EXISTING PERMIT AND IF THE
CONDITIONS THEN PRESCRIBED FOR AN INITIAL PERMIT ARE
SATISFIED.

(D)    THE COMMISSIONER MAY CHARGE A UNIFORM FEE FOR AN
INITIAL PERMIT APPLICATION AND FOR A RENEWAL APPLICATION.
THE AMOUNT OF THE FEE SHALL BE REASONABLY CALCULATED TO
REIMBURSE THE COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE FOR THE ESTIMATED COSTS
OF ADMINISTERING THE APPLICATIONS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

FOR the purpose of providing that in the case of a
corporation where there are less than three officers or
directors of the corporation, all officers or directors
shall make the application for an alcoholic beverages
license.
