THE BOARD, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS RULES AND
REGULATIONS, SHALL REINSTATE THE LICENSE OF AN INDIVIDUAL
WHO HAS FAILED TO RENEW HIS LICENSE FOR ANY REASON IF HE:

(1)   OTHERWISE IS ENTITLED TO BE LICENSED;

(2)   COMPLIES WITH ANY CONTINUING EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTS ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD FOR THIS PURPOSE; AND

(3)   PAYS TO THE BOARD ALL PAST DUE RENEWAL FEES
AND A REINSTATEMENT FEE OF $50.

144-23. REPRIMANDS, SUSPENSIONS, AND REVOCATIONS.

(A) GROUNDS.

SUBJECT TO THE HEARING PROVISIONS OF § 144-24 OF THIS
SUBTITLE, THE BOARD MAY DENY A LICENSE TO ANY APPLICANT,
REPRIMAND ANY LICENSEE, OR SUSPEND OR REVOKE HIS LICENSE IF
THE APPLICANT OR LICENSEE:

(1)   FRAUDULENTLY OR DECEPTIVELY OBTAINS OR
ATTEMPTS TO OBTAIN A LICENSE FOR HIMSELF OR FOR ANOTHER;

(2)   FRAUDULENTLY OR DECEPTIVELY USES A LICENSE;

(3)   IS CURRENTLY ADJUDICATED AS BEING A DISABLED
PERSON UNDER TITLE 13 OF THE ESTATES AND TRUSTS ARTICLE;

(4)   AS PART OF HIS PRACTICE, KNOWINGLY DOES ANY
ACT THAT EXCEEDS THE SCOPE OF THE PRACTICE OF ELECTROLOGY;

(5)   IS GROSSLY NEGLIGENT IN PRACTICING OR
TEACHING ELECTROLOGY;

(6)   ACTS IN A MANNER INCONSISTENT WITH GENERALLY
ACCEPTED STANDARDS FOR THE PRACTICE OF ELECTROLOGY;

(7)   IS CONVICTED OF A FELONY;

(8)   IS CONVICTED OF A CRIME INVOLVING MORAL
TURPITUDE IF THE NATURE OF THE OFFENSE BEARS DIRECTLY ON THE
FITNESS OF THE LICENSEE TO PRACTICE ELECTROLOGY;

(9)   PRACTICES ELECTROLOGY WHILE UNDER THE
INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL TO THE EXTENT THAT HE IS
UNABLE TO PERFORM COMPETENTLY;

(10)   USES INSTRUMENTS OR PROCEDURES IN THE
PRACTICE OF ELECTROLOGY THAT APE NOT APPROVED BY THE BOARD;

OR

(11)        ADVERTISES IN A MANNER THAT THE BOARD
DETERMINES VIOLATES THE STANDARDS OF § 144-34 OF THIS
SUBTITLE.

(B) RETURN OF LICENSE.
