Ch. 680
(b) [The term] "County" means the body politic and
corporate of the State of Maryland known as the County
Commissioners of Calvert County.
(c) [The term "industrial] "INDUSTRIAL park" means a
tract of land, the control and administration of which are
vested in a single body, suitable for industrial use because
of location, topography, proper zoning, availability of
utilities, and accessibility to transportation. The uses
permitted are regulated by protective minimum restrictions
including size of site, parking and loading restrictions,
and building setback lines from front, side, and rear yards.
The front and side yards adjacent to streets are landscaped
in conformance to planning standards set for the park. All
requirements are compatible with the community and
surrounding land uses in accordance with a comprehensive
plan to enable a group of industries to operate within it
efficiently.
(d) [The term "industrial] "INDUSTRIAL building" or
"buildings" means any building or structure suitable for or
intended for use as a factory, mill, shop, processing plant,
research, [and/] or development laboratory, warehouse,
assembly plant, fabricating plant, offices, and other
buildings and facilities related to any of the foregoing to
be constructed in the industrial park.
(e) "Construction and development" means and includes,
without intending [thereby] to limit the generality of the
term, any one or more of the following or any combination
[thereof] OF THEM: clearing, grading, and preparing land;
installation of utilities such as water, sewerage, electric
power, and gas, including all means for extracting and
treating water from the ground and for treating and
disposing of sewage and waste products; construction of
access and interior roads; installation of street lights;
construction of one or more industrial buildings;
engineering, architectural, and legal services; and other
activities, facilities, and services directly related to the
implementation and operation of an industrial park.
(f) "Federal Agency" means the United States of
America, the President of the United States of America, and
any department of, or corporation, agency, or
instrumentality created, designated or established by, the
United States of America.

The Authority may:
[1.] (1) Adopt by—laws for the regulation of its
affairs and the conduct of its business;
[2.] (2) Adopt an official Seal and alter [the same]
IT at pleasure[.];
