BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 886 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1975
Section 5(2)(J)(1)(a) and (b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That chapter(s) of the Acts of the General
Assembly be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

J. Department of Economic and Community Development:

1. Maryland Historical Trust:

(a)   Restoration of 77 Main Street, Annapolis.
Any Federal funds received by the Maryland Historical Trust
for this project will be used to reduce this appropriation.
Utilization of this building after the completion of the
restoration is subject to the approval of the Board of
Public Works.................................[90,000]105,500

(b)   Restoration of 43 Pinkney Street, Annapolis.
Any Federal funds received by the Maryland Historical Trust
for this project will be used to reduce this appropriation.
Utilization of this building after the completion of the
restoration is subject to the approval of the Board of
Public Works..................................[42,100]26,600

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That on or after
June 1, 1979 the Board of Public Works may not encumber or
expend an amount greater than the reduced amount provided
for in this Act for the restoration of 43 Pinkney Street,
Annapolis. All funds that are hereby deleted from 43
Pinkney Street, Annapolis shall be expended for the
restoration of 77 Main Street, Annapolis.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1979.
