The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint an
Airport Committee consisting of seven (7) members, one (1)
of whom shall be a County Commissioner. Two (2) of the
members shall serve for a period of one (1) year; two (2)
members shall serve for a period of three (3) years and
thereafter appointed for three—year terms. The County
Commissioners shall name the Chairman. The County
Commissioners shall fill vacancies as terms expire for a
three—year term, and vacancies occurring from other causes
shall be filled for the unexpired term. ]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Budgetary and Fiscal Procedures

FOR the purpose of eliminating the Board of Estimates of St.
Mary's County; and creating a framework to meet
planning and budgetary requirements of St. Mary's
County consistent with reorganized financial activities
and documents.

BY repealing

The Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County
Section 26—4 through 26—11, inclusive, and 26—22
Article 19 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1978 Edition, as amended)

BY adding to

The Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County

Section 27—1 through 27—11, inclusive, to be under the

new chapter "Chapter 27. Budgetary and Fiscal

Procedures"
Article 19 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1978 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 26-4 through 26-11, inclusive, and
26—22 of the Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County being
Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland be
repealed.
